Skanks Roots Project is a reggae group formed from musicians around California. The group formed as a collaborative idea between Dj Skanks and musician/ producer, E.N Young (member of Tribal Seeds). “SRP” is an all-star line up including Eddie Blunt (High Tide), J. Rips (KeepItLit), Lalo Olvera (JahLo), Chris Murray (CMajor), Dave Torr (Mad Traffic), Danny Dread (Roots Covenant), and Animo as well as many guest features.

 

The group officially shaped at the end of 2012 at Imperial Sound Recording Studio in Southern California. Skanks Roots Project 'Just the Tip' was released on February 19, 2013.
